Transfering Domains between HostDimeDomains.com Accounts

Transfering to Another User

If you have created two separate HostDimeDomains.com accounts and wish to consolidate all your domains into one area, or if you simply wish to transfer the ownership of one of your domains to another person, the HostDimeDomains.com system makes this easy using the "Push to Another Account" option in your domain management area.

1. First log into your HostDimeDomains.com account. If you're already logged into your account, simply click on the "My Account" link on the left hand navigational bar.

2. Inside of your account the "Manage Domains" link will appear under the Quick Links section. Left-click on this link.

3. The list of the domains you have registered with your HostDimeDomains.com account will appear. Click on the "M" button to the right of the domain to manage the domain.

4. Click on the "Push to Another Account" link.

5. Enter the username for the account you are pushing the domain to. Below that enter the password which you will provide to the owner of the account you are pushing the domain to. The owner of the other HostDimeDomains.com account will use the password to claim the domain.

6. After you click on Submit, at the top it will display "Success: Mission Accomplished" if there was no problem pushing the domain to the other HostDimeDomains.com account.

Claiming a Domain

Just pushing the domain to the other account is not the only action which must be taken. The owner of the account receiving the domain must login and claim the domain using the password set on the transfer. If you are receiving a domain, as soon as you login you will see a notice in red lettering at the top of the page stating "**ALERT: Pending Domain Ownership Transfer. Click HERE**". Click on the "HERE" link.

If you are receiving multiple domains, each one will display on this page. Enter the password for the domain you are claiming and click on the "Claim" button.

If the domain is successfully claimed, the following message will display:
